Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Revive The World (RTW). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Revive The World mobile application, website, and related services (collectively referred to as the “Platform”).
By accessing or using the RTW platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the platform.

1. About Revive The World

Revive The World is a digital platform that encourages environmental responsibility by enabling individuals, students, organizations, and communities to participate in environmental actions such as tree planting, volunteering, and sustainability initiatives.
The platform may include features such as environmental challenges, impact tracking, competitions, community activities.
RTW is intended to promote environmental awareness and responsible participation in sustainability initiatives.

2. Eligibility

To use the RTW platform, users must:
Be at least 13 years of age, or use the platform under parental or guardian supervision
Provide accurate and truthful information during registration
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
RTW reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these eligibility requirements.

3. User Account Security

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials, including usernames, passwords, and login information.
Users agree not to share their account with others or allow unauthorized access.
RTW is not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from failure to protect account credentials.

4. Nature of the Platform

RTW operates as an environmental engagement and verified
impact platform designed to encourage participation in
real-world sustainability activities.

The platform:

Does not provide financial investment services or securities
Does not guarantee financial returns on subscription fees
Does not operate as a banking, lending, or deposit-taking
institution
Does not operate as a gambling, lottery, or speculative
gaming platform
Does not create an employment relationship between RTW
and users

Verified activity records generated on the platform including
GPS coordinates, photo evidence, and task completion data may
be used for environmental impact reporting purposes. These
records do not constitute certified carbon credits under any
regulatory framework unless explicitly stated in a separate
written agreement.

Impact Points are earned for verified environmental actions.
They are not guaranteed where verification requirements are
not met. RTW reserves the right to modify the Impact Points
program with 30 days prior notice.

Participation in all environmental activities is voluntary.

5. Monthly Care Plan 

The Monthly Care Plan is RTW's membership for committed environmental changemakers. A subscription of ₹299 per month gives members full access to RTW's verified environmental programs, impact tracking, community leaderboard, and recognition system. The Monthly Care Plan reflects a member's commitment to real-world environmental action

 Payment Processing
For users on iOS devices: the Monthly Care Plan is processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system in accordance with Apple App Store policies. Apple's standard subscription terms, renewal terms, and refund policies apply.
For users on Android devices: payments are processed through the available payment system on the user's device in accordance with applicable platform policies and RBI guidelines. Users will be clearly informed of the subscription amount before completing any payment.

Subscription Terms

Subscriptions are billed monthly and auto-renew unless cancelled
Users may cancel at any time through their device or account settings
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
Subscription fees are not refundable except as required by applicable law or app store policies
Impact Points earned during an active subscription are retained for 90 days after subscription lapse
Points expire permanently if the subscription is not renewed within 90 days of lapse
RTW reserves the right to revise the Monthly Care Plan amount with 30 days prior notice. Price changes apply to new billing cycles only and not to the current active billing period.

6. Impact Points and Recognition 

RTW provides users with Impact Points, badges, and leaderboard rankings based on verified real-world environmental participation.
Impact Points and badges:

Are awarded for completing verified environmental actions including tree planting, waste cleanup, plant care, and animal welfare tasks
Are entirely non-monetary and have no cash or redeemable value
Cannot be purchased, transferred, or exchanged for any financial benefit
Do not expire while the Monthly Care Plan subscription is active
Are retained for 90 days after subscription lapse and expire permanently if not renewed within that period
Are symbolic recognition of environmental participation only

RTW reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Impact Points and recognition program with 30 days prior notice. Any such modification will not affect points already earned. RTW may introduce additional features, including reward-based or loyalty programs, in the future. Such features will be governed by separate terms and conditions where applicable.

7. Competitions and Campaigns

The platform may host competitions, environmental campaigns, or community challenges.
Participation may be subject to:
Additional rules
Verification of activities
Eligibility conditions
Time limits or participation requirements
RTW reserves the right to modify or cancel campaigns if misuse, fraud, or operational issues occur.
Any promotion offering a fixed prize will clearly state the number of winners, entry deadline, and prize award date within the promotion's official terms

8. User Responsibilities

Users agree to use the platform responsibly and must not:
Upload false or misleading environmental activity evidence
Manipulate GPS or location data
Use automated tools or bots to gain unfair advantages
Upload inappropriate, harmful, or misleading content
Engage in harassment, abuse, or harmful conduct toward others
Use the platform for unlawful or deceptive purposes
Attempt to manipulate the Impact Points balance or verification process
Create multiple accounts to earn duplicate Impact Points
Violation of these rules may result in suspension or termination of the account.

9. Photo, Camera, and Location Usage

Certain features of the RTW platform may require access to:
Camera ,used solely to upload environmental activity verification photos.
Not used for advertising or any other purpose. Photos retained for 90 days after activity. Location services used solely to verify GPS coordinates of environmental tasks. Not used for advertising or any other purpose. Location data retained for 90 days after activity. Aggregated and anonymised environmental impact data such as total trees planted in a geographic area may be shared with environmental impact assessment agencies or corporate CSR program partners for the purpose of impact measurement and reporting. No personally identifiable information, individual GPS coordinates, or individual photos are shared with third parties

10. Environmental Responsibility Disclaimer

RTW encourages responsible environmental participation. Users must ensure that any environmental actions, including tree planting, are conducted in appropriate and permitted locations.
Users are responsible for ensuring compliance with local laws, environmental regulations, and land ownership permissions.
RTW is not responsible for improper planting locations or environmental actions conducted outside recommended practices.

11. Safety Disclaimer

Participation in environmental activities may involve physical actions such as outdoor work or community activities.
Users acknowledge that participation is voluntary and that RTW is not responsible for injuries, damages, or accidents that may occur during such activities.
Users should take appropriate safety precautions when participating in environmental initiatives.

12. Data and Account Deletion

Users can delete their account directly from within the Revive The World mobile application. Once the deletion request is confirmed through the in-app confirmation process, the user’s account and associated personal data will be removed from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by applicable laws or regulatory obligations.

Certain environmental activity records, such as tree plantation entries, environmental actions, or impact contributions, may be retained in an anonymized or aggregated form for the purpose of maintaining accurate environmental impact statistics and reporting. These records will no longer be associated with the deleted user account.

13. Intellectual Property

All platform content, including but not limited to:
Logos
Designs
Software
Content
Platform features
are the intellectual property of Revive The World unless otherwise stated.
Users may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or modify platform content without permission.

14. Third-Party Services

The RTW platform may integrate with third-party services such as:
Cloud hosting services
Payment processors
Analytics providers
Mapping services
These services operate under their own privacy policies and terms. RTW is not responsible for the practices of third-party providers.

15. Service Availability

RTW strives to provide reliable access to its platform. However, uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed.
The platform may be temporarily unavailable due to:
Maintenance
System upgrades
Technical issues
External service disruptions
RTW reserves the right to modify or discontinue platform features when necessary.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Revive The World shall not be liable for:
Any indirect or consequential damages
Loss of data
Platform downtime
User misuse of the platform
Environmental activities conducted independently by users
Users participate in platform activities at their own discretion and responsibility.
RTW's maximum liability to any user shall not exceed the total Monthly Care Plan fees paid by that user in the 3 months preceding the claim.

17. Account Suspension and Termination

RTW reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts if users:
Violate these Terms
Engage in fraudulent activity
Upload misleading or harmful content
Misuse of platform features
RTW may remove content or restrict platform access without prior notice in cases of misuse.

18. Changes to These Terms

RTW may update these Terms from time to time to reflect improvements in the platform, legal requirements, or operational updates.
Users will be notified of significant updates through the platform or website. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

19. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India , including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, the Information Technology Act 2000, and the Consumer Protection Act 2019
Any disputes arising from the use of the platform shall fall under the jurisdiction of courts located in Pune, Maharashtra, India.

20. Privacy Policy

Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using the platform, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
