REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Thank you for choosing Revive The World.
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the rules regarding payments, cancellations, and refunds for users of our website revivetheworld.in and the Revive The World mobile application.

By making a payment on our platform, you agree to the terms below.

GENERAL POLICY

All payments made towards Revive The World including participation fees, contributions, subscriptions, or in-app purchases — are final and non-refundable, except in specific cases mentioned below.

We do not provide refunds for:

User contributions, platform fees or donation type payments

Institution-level participation fees

In-app purchases or digital unlocks

Any contribution tiers or voluntary payments

NO CANCELLATION AFTER PAYMENT

Once a payment is successfully completed:

It cannot be cancelled

It cannot be reversed

It cannot be transferred to another user

EXCEPTIONS - WHEN REFUNDS MAY BE ALLOWED

Refunds may be issued only under these special cases:

3.1 Duplicate Payment
If a user is accidentally charged twice for the same transaction, we will refund the duplicate amount.

3.2 Failed Payment But Amount Debited
If money is deducted from your account but payment is not reflected in the app, your bank or payment gateway will usually refund within 5–7 working days.
If not, contact us for verification.

3.3 Technical Error From Our Side
If a technical issue from our system causes a wrong charge, we will investigate and refund if verified.
Refund timelines: 5–14 working days.

REFUND PROCESS

If your case qualifies under the exceptions, follow these steps:

Send an email to support@revivetheworld.in
with:

Full Name

Registered Mobile Number

Payment Date

Transaction ID or screenshot

Reason for refund request

Step 2 – Verification
We will verify payment logs, Razorpay dashboard, and user data.

Step 3 – Decision
We will respond within 5 working days.

Step 4 – Refund Timeline
If approved, refunds take 5–14 working days depending on the bank.

NO REFUNDS FOR

Refunds are NOT given for:

Change of mind

Inability to plant trees

User no longer wishes to participate

Incorrect entry details

Issues with college/institution permissions

Inactivity

Disqualification due to fraud

Failure to follow app instructions

Network, GPS, or device problems

App uninstall or phone change

CHARGEBACKS

If a user raises a bank chargeback without valid reason:

The user’s account may be suspended

Participation in competitions may be revoked

A penalty may apply

CANCELLATION BY REVIVE THE WORLD

We reserve the right to suspend, cancel, or terminate:

Accounts involved in fraud

Manipulated planting actions

Institutions violating terms

Refunds in such cases are at our sole discretion.
